For John, fishing isn't a hobby. It's what he lives for.
A passionate fly fisherman, rod builder and fly tier, John has travelled the world in pursuit of fly fishing memories. Now approaching 70, his three Southbound e-bikes are helping him rediscover places he remembers from his childhood — and reach fishing spots that he otherwise would not have been able to access.
His latest Southbound bushbuck, with its step-through frame, makes getting on and off easier. John has also transformed it into the ultimate mobile fishing station with custom boxes, trays, tackle storage and an extra battery.
John's story is about more than fishing. It's about freedom, independence and being able to keep doing the things he truly loves.
For John, his Southbound bikes have been some of the best investments he's made.
